Rachel and Luke are just the sweetest couple! We met on a summer day in June for their engagement session at The Dallas Arboretum and I loved spending this afternoon with them. Pretty floral blooms and stunning afternoon light made this session so incredibly special. The joy and love shared between Rachel and Luke was beautiful to witness and capture. The Dallas Arboretum is one of my favorite places for an engagement session; we explored a number of amazing spots to bring to life their photographic vision. I’m excited for you to see all of the happiness from this amazing session!

THE DALLAS ARBORETUM ENGAGEMENT SESSION

For your engagement session, I always recommend doing two different outfits – one formal and the other a bit more casual. This helps to provide a variety of looks within your photos. Rachel and Luke started off their session with a formal outfit. Rachel wore an adorable a-line bubble sleeve mini dress which paired perfectly to Luke’s plaid sport coat with blue and green undertones. For their second outfit, Rachel changed into another cute mini dress with a soft blue pattern and a sweetheart neckline. This also paired very nicely with Luke’s sport coat and his brown accessories. They totally rocked it!
